There Is No Tsunami Threat To Sri Lanka Due To The Powerful Indonesian Earthquake Occurred Yesterday(02)

There is no Tsunami threat to Sri Lanka due to a 7.8 Magnitude powerful  Earthquake which  strucked off the coast of Western Indonesia last evening according to Disaster Management Center in Sri Lanka and Meteorology Department.

Following the Earthquake which strucked at South West of the Indonesian City Padang,Indonesian Authorities have issued Tsunami Warning  to the regions of North Sumathra,West Sumathra and Aceh while Australia had issued Tsunami Warning to Cocos and Christmas Islands in the Pacific.
