GMOF Has Requested The Health Minister To Appoint A Committee To Investigate On Allegations Leveled Against Heads Of Independent Drug Authority

The Government Medical Officers Forum (GMOF)has Sunday (27) requested the Minister Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Dr.Rajitha Senaratne to Appoint a committee to investigate regarding allegations leveled against the Heads of  Independent Drug Authority including bribery and corruption charges and giving priority to a blacklisted drug company during tender procedures.

The Committee should looking on how can the heads of Independent Drug Authority gave so much power to a retired female pharmacist within the authority including handling of confidential reports the GMOF has informed the Minister during a meeting held at Ministry of Health On Sunday.
