A Buddhist Priest attached to the Thripitaka Dharmayatanaya in Palawatta(In Colombo) was killed by a Motor Car Accident occurred on Awissawella-Colombo Main Road in Pannipitiya Area yesterday(28) according to the Police.The Buddhist Priest was killed after hit by a Motor Car while crossing the road through a level crossing it has been reported.He was succumbed to his injuries upon admission to the Homagama Hospital in critical condition.
The Maharagama Police have arrested the driver of the Car which involved in the accident and conducting further investigation on the accident.
