Around 33 Children residing in Sevanagala Area(In Monaragala District) have been admitted to the Sevanagala Hospital today(04) due to a drug poisoning. The hospitalized children had received Vitamin C and Iron Tablets from the Sevanagala MOH(Medical Officer Of Health) Office yesterday(03)and after taken those they fell sick according to the sources.
These children had fell sick due to the consuming of Vitamin C and Iron Tablets with an empty stomach a doctor attached to the Sevanagala MOH Office has said.A group of Children studying at Sevanagala ,Koulara Collage have faced this incident.
