The former first lady Shiranthi Rajapakshe who is due to appear before Presidential Commission Of Inquiry yesterday(25) has requested the commission through a lawyer to give her another day to appear it has been reported.The former first lady is to be appeared before the Presidential Commission Of Inquiry at 9.30 a.m yesterday morning.However her lawyer who had arrived the commission's office has requested another day for questioning.
The Former First Lady had asked to appear before the Commission to record a statement from her regarding the allegation leveled against her on providing a house belonging to National Housing Development Authority to her former media co ordinator Milinda Ratnayake much below the estimated value.
