The Colombo High Court has today(12) has released the former Justice Sarath De Abrew on bail regarding a case in which he is charged with an alleged assault of a Domestic Worker.The Former Justice has been released on a Cash Bail of Rs.100,000 and Two Personal Bails of Rs.100,000 each.
The Colombo High Court has yesterday(11) rejected a petition filed by Former Justice Abrew claiming the charge sheet filed against him by the Attorney General regarding the assaulting of a domestic worker on 26th of June last year was illegal .
