Bakery Owners To Avoid Increasing The Prices Of Bakery Products

The Bakery Owners Association Of Sri Lanka has today(12) said the prices of Bakery Products will not be increased although prices of several raw materials used to make Bakery Products have been increased already.

Due to the several taxes proposed through the budget proposals-2016 the prices of several raw materials used to make Bakery Products including wheat flour have been increased according to Association.

However the Consumer Affairs Authority has earlier warned it will sue some Flour Importing Companies here which increased the Flour Price illegally by Rs.2 per Kilo Gramme.
