An Island Wide Power Cuts To Be Implemented Tomorrow (24) As Well

 An Island Wide Power Cut is scheduled to be implemented tomorrow (24) as well due to the fuel shortage faced by Many Power  plants attached to Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) the Public Utilities Commission has announced .

Accordingly 4 hours and 40 minutes long power cut will be implemented in the zones marked as A,B and C and 4 hours and 30 minutes long power cut will be implemented in zones marked as P.Q,R,S,T.U.V and W between 8.30 a.m to 10.30 p.m tomorrow the Commission has stated .

Meanwhile due to the Island Wide power cuts implemented today (23) several areas in the island had been experienced disruptions in water supply it has been reported .

1281 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (23)

  A total number of 1281 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (23) Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 640,578 according to Epidemiology Unit .

Another 31 Corona Deaths Reported Today (23) -DGHS -Same Amount Of Deaths Reported Two Days A Row

 Another 31 Corona deaths had been reported today (23) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 16,586 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 17 females and 14 males had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 25 were over 60 years of age and 06 were belonged to 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .
