Army Personal Have Managed To Repair 51 Houses Which damaged Due To Kosgama-Salawa Army Camp fire-Sri Lanka Army

The Sri Lanka Army Personal have managed to repair 51 houses at Salawa in Kosgama which damaged due to a explosion and fire occurred in Salawa Army Camp and enabled the owners of those houses to return home the Sri Lanka Army has stated in a statement.

During the last five days Army Engineering Troupes have managed to clear compounds reported from Kosgama it has been stated.

Meanwhile although Colombo Divisional Secretariat has announced that the evaluation of the Kosgama ,Salawa Army Camp damage has been completed and compensations will be paying for those whose properties and houses residents in the area still stated nothing has been done to repair their houses.

A group of residents in Salawa Area today too blocked the Salawa .Kosgma Road by opposingt he opening of Colombo Awissawella Main Road without repairing their properties.

Two Bodies Have Found At Karandeniya In Egodawela Area

Image result for mysteryThe bodies of Mother and her son were found this morning at a forest area and near a canal in Krandeniya Egodawela area respectively according to the Police.

The Police believed the mentally ill son and his 60 year old mother were committed suicide and conducting further investigations on the incident.

First Offshore Vessel Built By An Indian Shipping Company For Sri Lanka Navy Has Launched

Image result for goa india mapThe first offshore petrol vessel built by India's Goa Shipyard Limited for Sri Lanka Navy was launched at the Goa Shipyard on yesterday(11).

The Offshore Vessel which 105 meters in length and 13.6 meters wide will cost 74 million US Dollars after it's completion according to sources.

The Vessel is equipped with a helipad which capable of landing a helicopter on it the reports have stated.The vessel has named as "Sayurai".

Authorities To Pay Compansation For Salawa Army Camp Fire Victims On Tuesday

Image result for compensationThe Authorities are due to pay compensation for people who lost their houses and property as a result of Salawa Army Camp fire from next Tuesday(14) according to Colombo District Secretariat .
According to the estimates 654 houses were damaged    due to the fire and some houses were completely destroyed.

The estimating of  value of the damage caused to Houses and Properties due to Salawa Army Camp Fire is sue to complete tomorrow(12).The owners of the damaged houses in Salawa Area are due to receive Rs.50,000 each for a three month period as a compensation it has been reported.
