The Sri Lanka Army Personal have managed to repair 51 houses at Salawa in Kosgama which damaged due to a explosion and fire occurred in Salawa Army Camp and enabled the owners of those houses to return home the Sri Lanka Army has stated in a statement.During the last five days Army Engineering Troupes have managed to clear compounds reported from Kosgama it has been stated.
Meanwhile although Colombo Divisional Secretariat has announced that the evaluation of the Kosgama ,Salawa Army Camp damage has been completed and compensations will be paying for those whose properties and houses residents in the area still stated nothing has been done to repair their houses.
A group of residents in Salawa Area today too blocked the Salawa .Kosgma Road by opposingt he opening of Colombo Awissawella Main Road without repairing their properties.
