Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena Has Arrived Germany For A State Visit
Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera,Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake,Primary Industries Minister Daya Gamage,Skills Development and Vocational Training Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawikrame have accompanied the President for the visit.
President Sirisena is due to begin his official duties this morning by visiting a foundation memorial of jews murdered in Europe and later due to visit a Castle in the city.
This evening Sri Lankan President is due to begin discussions with German Ministers.This is the first time a Sri Lankan Head Of State visiting Germany after 43 years.
Riot Police Have Dispersed A Protest March Of Unemployed Graduates Near Lotus Roundabout By Using Tear Gas And Water Cannons
The riot police has used tear gas and water cannons to disperse a protest march conducted by the Combined Union of Unemployed Graduates near Lotus Roundabout in Colombo short while ago.
The Unemployed Graduates Union has organized this protest march by demanding the government to fill the vacancies of Government Sector through an unemployed graduates.The protest march has commenced from Technical Collage Junction in Maradana(In Colombo) and on the way to Prime Minister's Office to hand over a letter regarding their demand when the police dispersed the protest.
Due to the teat gas used by riot police to disperse the unemployed graduates protest march two journalists who were there at that time to cover the march have been injured and hospitalized according to reports.

Three School Girls Drowned In Kelani River -One Body Has Been Recovered
Three School Girls who went to bathe in Kelaniya River last afternoon have been drowned in the river according to the Police.
The residents of the area have managed to recovered a body of one girl but other two are still missing the Police have said.
The Body of the deceased girl has taken to Colombo National Hospital .
The Police and Navy have launched a joint search operation to locate the two missing girls .

Suicide Rate Among Sri Lankan Girls Of The Age 18-26 Is On the Increase-Dr.Asanga Wijeratne
The Suicide Rate among the Sri Lankan girls of the ages 18-26 is on the increase due to the Western Concept Valentine's Day according to Sri Lankan Specialist Doctor on Human Kinetics and Sports Medical Science Asanga Wijeratne
According to a survey carried out regarding these suicides ,Breaking Of Expectations is identified as the main cause behind these suicides Dr.Wijeratne has said.Most of the girls who are committing Suicide are members of Middle Class Families he has stressed.
