Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and his five member delegation have
arrived Berlin City yesterday(15) evening for a four day state visit to
Germany.Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera,Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake,Primary Industries Minister Daya Gamage,Skills Development and Vocational Training Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawikrame have accompanied the President for the visit.
President Sirisena is due to begin his official duties this morning by visiting a foundation memorial of jews murdered in Europe and later due to visit a Castle in the city.
This evening Sri Lankan President is due to begin discussions with German Ministers.This is the first time a Sri Lankan Head Of State visiting Germany after 43 years.
