Ministry Of Education Has Interdicted The Principle Of Kingswood College -Kandy For Collecting Money From Parents Of Students

The Ministry Of Education has today(07)interdicted the Principle of one of the leading Private Schools in Kandy ,Kingswood College  for collecting money from parents enrolling Grade 1-Students for the year 2016.

The audit carried out by the Ministry Of Education has revealed the principle had collected a Sum of Rs.3,625,000 by stating it was for a construction of a new building in the school by violating regulations.According to the government regulations ,collecting money for enrolling students for a school has been strictly prohibited.

The Principle of the Kingswood College had collected a sum of Rs.50,000 each from 65 individuals the audit carried out by the Ministry has revealed.

The Media Office has been sealed off by the Special Investigations Division due to a certain financial irregularity taken place there the Union has said.

The union however  has suspected the actual reason behind the sealed off could be the pressure of Minister Of Ports And Shipping Arjuna Ranathunge over an issue related to the election of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Usage Of Condoms In Sri Lanka Has Been Increased -Ministry Of Health

Image result for ministry of health sri lankaThe usage of Condoms in Sri Lanka has been increased by 4.1 % during last 18 years according to the Ministry Of Health ,Nutrition And Indigenous Medicine. 

The Condoms have been promoted in Sri Lanka by the health authorities to prevent the spreading of sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS .In 1987 the usage rate of Condoms in Sri Lanka has been 1.9% and it has been increased to 6% by last year the Ministry has  announced  today(06).
