The usage of Condoms in Sri Lanka has been increased by 4.1 % during last 18 years according to the Ministry Of Health ,Nutrition And Indigenous Medicine. The Condoms have been promoted in Sri Lanka by the health authorities to prevent the spreading of sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS .In 1987 the usage rate of Condoms in Sri Lanka has been 1.9% and it has been increased to 6% by last year the Ministry has announced today(06).
