One Of The Main Suspects Of Five Year Old Seya Sadewmini's Rape And Murder Case Proved Guilty As Real Killer Through A DNA Test

Image result for guiltyOne of the main suspects arrested over the rape and murder case of five year old Seya Sadewmini of Kotadeniyawa Area, Saman Jayalath has been proved as guilty for the Seya's Murder after  DNA Samples taken from the suspect has matched DNA Samples found from girl's body the Minuwangoda Magistrate D.A Ruwanpathirana has announced this noon.

Earlier today Criminal Investigation Department(CID) had produced the DNA Test Report of main Suspect  Saman Jayalath  before Minuwangoda Magistrate which was received  from Gene tech Institute.

The suspect Saman Jayalath who was arrested by CID one and half weeks ago had taken responsibility of raping and killing of five year old Seya after been questioned.Earlier CID had arrested his younger brother Dunesh Priyashantha alias "Kondaya "who was also told he has done the crime.However through the DNA Test it proved "Kondaya" has not done the crime .

Due to the confusion arisen CID has requested permission from Minuwangoda Magistrate to take DNA Samples from murdered girl's father to find out who the real killer is.

Meanwhile although the DNA Test Report of main suspect Saman Jayalath Had submitted to the Court today, the DNA Test Report of murdered girl's father has not submitted it has been reported.

Five Year old Seya was found sexually molested and murdered from an area near her house on 13th Of September a day after she went missing.

Addressing the Provincial Health Ministers Summit held yesterday (13)in Colombo the Health Minister has said there's a shortage of Specialist Doctors in most of the Government Hospitals and he had personally recommended the relevant authorities to increase the number of Doctors recruited for  Specialist Training as a solution for the problem.

Fourteen Persons Participated For The Interviews Conducted To Select Suitable Candidates For Hangman's Post -Prisons Department

Fourteen Persons have been participated for the interviews conducted yesterday(13) to select suitable persons for the Government 's hangman post according to Prisons Department.

Twenty Four Persons had applied for the hangman's post and fourteen were participated for interviews Department has announced,

Through the interviews two persons who are having higher qualifications will  be selected for the  post and they will be recruited for the post after giving them a three week training the  Commissioner General Of Prisons Rohana Pushpakumara has said.

Court Of Appeal Extended The Stay Order Issued Against Circular Banning Wearing Of Full Face Helmets

The Court Of Appeal has today(13) extended the stay order issued against  circular  which imposed a ban on wearing full face helmets until 02nd of November.

The petition filed against the circular will be taken up for hearing on 02nd of November.

The government has issued the circular imposing a ban on wearing full face helmets due to the increasing number of crimes and robberies occurred in the country done by persons wearing full face helmets.

Colombo Fort Magistrate Has Recalled The Issued Warrants On BBS General Secretary Galagodawatte Thero And Two Other Monks

The Colombo Fort Magistrate has today(13) recalled the warrants issued for arrest of the General Secretary Of Bodu Bala Sena(BBS) Group Venerable Galagodawatte Gnanasara Thero and two other monks after they were surrendered before  the Fort Magistrate this morning.

The Colombo Fort Magistrate Priyantha Fernando had issued warrants to arrest and produce the three monks of Bodu Bala Sena Group as they didn't appear before the court yesterday (12) in connection with two court cases filed against them.

The case is due to  hear again on 09th of November.

A Daughter Who Were Allegedly Locking Her Father Inside A Dog's Cage Has Been Arrested

A 42 year old Daughter has  been arrested today(13) by the Police for allegedly locking  her father inside a Dog's Cage at Balagolla(In Kandy District) .

The daughter was arrested after a Police Officer attach to Police Patrolling Team had spotted the 72 year old Father held inside the cramped  Dog's Cage made with metal and bricks according to Police.

The rescued father was admitted to the Manikhinna Base Hospital for treatment and  arrested daughter is due to be produced before Kandy Magistrate Court today.

An Island Wide Shortage Of Dual Purpose Vaccines

There's an Island Wide severe shortage of the newly introduced Dual Purpose Vaccines given to Children Over five years of age  to protect from the diseases Diptheria and Tetanus according to the Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine.

Even the Medical Supplies Division do not have sufficient stocks of the Dual Purpose Vaccines to distribute amongst Government Hospitals the Ministry has said.

A stock of Dual Purpose Vaccines is due to arrive Medical Supplies Division on this Thursday and it will help to ease the situation Ministry Sources have said.

The Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has advised the Epidemiology Unit to conduct Special Clinics Island wide on this Friday to administer Dual Purpose Vaccines for the children over five years old who are not able to received the vaccine due to the shortage.

Around 1317 "Jersey"Type Australian Cows Imported To Sri Lanka In View Of Uplifting The Fresh Milk Production In The Country

Around 1317 "Jersey" Type Pregnant Cows were imported  to Sri Lanka from Australia Yesterday (11) to uplift the  Fresh Milk Production in Sri Lanka.

An Animal Transport Ship "Ocean Outback' which carried theses cows had  arrived yesterday at Hambanthota Mahinda Rajapaksha International Harbour.These Imported Cows have been later transported to "Ridiyagama' Farm in Ambalanthota(In Southern Province) belonging  to National Livestock Board .

These Cows are due to be distributed amongst Milk Farmers of six selected provinces in Sri Lanka in view of increasing  Milk Production of the Country according to National Livestock Board.

A Group Of Protesters Marched Towards President House By Demanding Implementation Of Capital Punishment For Child Rapists

As countrywide protests are continuing by demanding to implement capital punishment for the killers of five year old Seya Sademini of Kotadeniyawa and the girl student sivaloganathan vidya of Kilinochchi (In Northern Province) both of whom were brutally rape and killed ,A group of Protesters have today marched towards President's House in Fort from Prime Ministers Office in Colombo and handed over a petition contains their demand.

As President Maithripala Sirisena was not there at President's House in that moment the protesters have handed over the petition to President's Coordinating Secretary S.Kodikara.A group of Ceylon Transport Board's Workers and some other people including Seya's Mother were amongs t
 the protesters.

More Funds Will Be Allocated For Free Health And Educational Services In The Country-President Sirisena

More funds will be allocated from the forthcoming budget for Free Health and Education Services of Sri Lanka according to President Maithripala Sirisena.

"Government's aim is to provide good quality  Health and Educational Services for every Sri Lankan Citizen and We have  already allocated more funds for Free Health and Educational Services in the country" President has said.

While addressing a function held at Negambo Hospital this morning President Sirisena has said while providing Health and Educational Services for the people government and provincial Councils should working together like a single  unit and should not be divided.
