The Professionals belonging to all the sectors had decided to declare an Island Wide Black week from 22nd of February and launched a trade union action opposing the new tax revisions introduced by the government .
Professionals belong to many sectors including Ports,Petroleum,Electricity ,Water and Banks are scheduled to be participated this trade union action .The functioning of all these sectors will be paralyzed as result of this trade union action according to the Joint Trade Union Alliance of Professionals
