The Death Of A Farmer In Kabithigollawa Leads TO A Death OF A Police Officer

 In  an unfortunate incident a 48 year old farmer in Kabithigollawa area at Anuradhpaura District (North Central Province) was killed due to a Wild Elephant attack and a 54 year old Police Sergent  who had tried to control the   tense situation occurred after the death of the farmer, between two groups of villagers was killed due to an attack made by a villager it has been reported .Watch an Elephant Attack Gypsy: Things to Do & Not to Do in Wildlife Parks

According to the Kabithigollawa Headquarter police five persons including a Buddhist monk had been arrested over the tense situation that occurred after a wild elephant killed the farmer .

The farmer who was killed due to a wild elephant attack was a resident of Thittagonawa area in Kabithigollawa and the Police sergeant who was killed due to an attack made by a villager was a resident of Wariyapaola area .
