As the hydro catchment areas have received substantial amount of rain during past few days Public Utilities Commission had reduced the duration of daily island wide power cuts scheduled to be implemented during this weekend by one hour the Commission has announced ,
Accordingly One hour and twenty minutes long power cut will be imposed during this Saturday and Sunday in the night and there will be two hours and twenty minutes long power cut scheduled to be implemented from next Monday onward .
