Bakery Owners To Increase The Prices Of Bakery Products Due To The Fuel Price Hike

As a result of the Fuel price hike ,the prices of all Bakery products excluding Bread will be increased soon according to the All Ceylon Bakery Owners Association .

According to the Association some Bakery Owners have already increased the prices of their Bakery products .

Meanwhile Gas companies are demanding  the government to increase the price of. A Gas Cylinder by at least Ra.500 and Private bus owners have requested a  15 percent price hike of Bus fares as well as a result of the fuel price hike .

Cabinet sub committee appointed to iook into review the price of Gas is scheduled to meet today to decide whether to allow  a gas price hike .
