Nine persons had been arrested with 200 Kilo Grammes of Heroin in their procession during a joint raid carried out at Mirissa area in Weligama ,Matara last morning (13)according to the Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana .
The suspects were arrested after the haul of heroin brought to Mirissa area through a small boat during a joint raid carried out by Police Anti Narcotic Bureau ,Sri Lanka Navy and Coastal guards .The haul of Heroin was packed in gas tanks and gunny bags it has been revealed .
