Sri Lankan Consular General 's Office in
Milan, Italy are currently being collected the number of Sri Lankans in Italy affected due to the lockdown of 14 Italian cities including Milan and Venice in Northern and Central territories of the country which have a population of more than 16 Million according to the comsuler General's office .
Italian Government had locked down these cities with one fourth of the country's total population in view of quarantine them.to prevent spreading of Corona virus which spreads rapidly in Italy.
Comsuler General's office Believes around 30,000 to 35,000 Sri Lankans may have residing in these locked down cities which Is 32 percent of the total Sri Lankan population in Italy at present.
All the facilties will.be provided for all the Sri Lankans affected due to the lockdown authorities have e stated.
