Police Arrested Four Bangladeshi Nationals Over Attempting To Abduct a Small Sri Lankan Boy

Katugasthota Police have arrested  four
Bangladeshi Nationals and two Sri lamkans who had attempted to abduct a 10 year old boy near a weekend Trade fair at Manikkumbura in Katugasthota, Kandy last evening  (07).

The suspects arrived in a van had attempted to abduct  the boy who had arrived in the fair with his uncle it has been revealed .However the uncle of the boy had saved him after struggling with the abductors. Then the suspects had fled away from the scene and later they were arrested by the Katugasthota Police after receiving  the plate number of the van .

The two local suspects are residents of Kadawatha and Galagedara areas .

Katugasthota Police are investigating over the incident.
