Passangers Arriving In South Korea To Be Screened For Corona Virus As The Virus Outbreak Escalated In That Country

As the Corona virus outbreak escalated 
in South Korea all the Passangers arriving in from there will be subjected for special screening on  corona virus at the Health Unit of the Katunayake International Airport according to Director General Of Health Services Dr.Anil Jasinghe.

These Passangers will be undergoing a 14 day quarantine process also he has stated.

Meanwhile some factories in South Korea where Sri Lankan workers are working had been shutdown temporarily due to the spreading of Corona virus it has been reported waked.

Sri Lankan Embassy in South Korean  capital Seoul had advised those Sri Lankan employees to stay indoors and so far no Sri Lankan in South Korea had caught the virus according to the Embassy .

Around 20,000 Sri Lankans are being employed in South Korea at present and out of them 915 are being located at Daegu where the majority of South Korean corona virus infected persons had been reported .

Sri Lankan Embassy in Seoul is keep in touch with the Sri Lankans in Korea and spread information to them regarding guidelines should be followedited  to prevent getting infected  the  virus .
