Five Persons had been killed and
twenty persons had been injured and hospitalized due to a CTB Bus -Jeep Collision Occured at pandikeidakulam in Vavuniya -Omanthai area on Jaffna A-9 road few hours ago .
The injured had been admitted to Vavuniya General Hospital for treatment.
Due to the Collision both the Bus and the Jeep had caught fire and the Jeep driver and two Passangers had been killed on the spot as a result .
The incident occurred when a Jaffna -Colombo bound Ceylon Transport Board (CTB )Bus collided with Vavuniya -Point padro bound jeep it has been revealed.
Fire brigade of the Vavuniya urban council had doused the fire erupted as a result of the incident .
