Transparency International Sri Lanka
has issued a statement protesting over a cabinet decision taken recently to allow current president Maithripala Sirisena to use his current official residence located at Mahagamasekara Road ,Colombo -07 for his personal use after his retirement from presidency
next month .
Setious questions arisen regarding this cabinet decision taken at a time a presidential election is being declared and as President becomes neutral during the election and as he is the chief of the current cabinet Transperancy International has stressed .
This is a misuse of President's powers the Organization has claimed .
