Colombo High Court had today (23) sentenced the drug smuggler and underworld gang leader Kanjipani Imran who had been arrested along with drug smuggler Makandure Madush in Dubai recently .a six year rigorous imprisonment over the charges of keeping in possession and smuggling 5.200 Kilo Grammes of Cannabis .Attorney General had filed the court case against Kanjipani Imran over the charges of keeping in possession and smuggling 5.300 Kilo Grammes of Cannabis at Maligawatte area on 13th of September 2018 .When the case against the accused taken up for hearing by Colombo High Court Judge Gihan Kulathunge today (23) Kanjipani Imran had found guilty over the charges .
