Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage Had Been Appointed As The Army Chief Of Staff

Commander of the Volunteer Force of Sri Lanka Army  Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage has been appointed as the new chief of staff of  Sri Lanka Army with effect from today  (23) the Sri Lanka Aemy Headquarters Had announced today.

He was appointed to the post after the former Army Chief Of Staff Lieutenant General shavendra Silva had been appointed as new Army Commander .
