Twelve Websites including Website of Kuwait Embassy in Colombo ,Website of Rajarata University and private sector websites have been subjected for this cyber attack .The hackers who launched the attack had managed to change data Bases in these sites and displayed a flag similar to that of LTTE the team has stressed.
The cyber attack has been launched against the celebrating 10 th anniversary of winning the war against LTTE authorities believes .
However information of such an attack had been supplied to the relevent officials prior to the cyberattack but no step had been taken to prevent it the Team has stated.
