PHI' S And Food And Drug Inspectors Have Sealed 21 Hotels And Canteens Over Selling Unhygienic Food And Drinks

Public Health Inspectors (PHI's )along with Food and Drug Inspectors have sealed 21 Hotels,Canteens and Food selling outlets  over selling  food and drinks not suitable for human  consumption during the raids carried out throughout the island from 15 th of March to 10th of April according to Ministry Of Health.

All together 10,872 Hotels,Canteens and Food selling outlets have been raided during that period and legal cases have been filed against 2821 Hotel and canteen owners over selling food and drinks prepared unhygenic way the Ministry has stressed.

Another 616 Hotel and Canteen owners had been served with red notices over selling unhygienic food .The raids will continue according to the Health Mimistry .
