Wild Life Officers Had Rescued A Baby Elephant Stuck In Mud At Kantale

Wild Life Office had rescued and treated an Elephant Calf around four years old who had stuck in mud of a Vaan Canal reserve in Kantale last evening  (25).

After being informed by Wild Life officers attached to Kantale Wild Life office Wild Life officers attached to Girithale Wild Life office had arrived at the scene and rescued the Baby Elephant after struggling hours it has been revealed.

After taking the Baby Elephant out from mud veterinary surgeons had treated his gun shot wounds .
