Polgahawela Transmission Station Of The TNL Television Was Sealed By The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission

The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC)has today (05) raided the transmission station of  one of the oldest Television Channals in Sri Lanka TNL T.V . and sealed it over not obtaining the annual Transmission License it has been reported.

The officials of the TRC along with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) have today raided the Polgahawela Tramsmission Station of TNL as per a court order issued by the Polgahawela court and  sealed the station  after taking in to custody the Transmitting equipment of it.

Due to this situation transmission actovities of TNL service in Western ,North Central and Sabaragamuva provinces are being disrupted according to the TNL Chairman Shan Wikramasimghe (Brother Of Prime Minister Ranil WikramasInghe.

TNL has paid all the due money to the government he has stated.
