A 24 year old person was killed and two others have been injured and hospitalized after colliding with a vehicle at fourth post in Wellawaya today(01).The Three critically injured persons were admitted to the Wellawaya Hospital for treatment and one had succumbed to his injuries afterwards according to the Wellawaya Police.
One of the Critically injured persons was later transferred to the Sirigala Hospital in Monaragala.The deceased was identified as a resident of Dumbarawatte area.
Police are currently investigating in to arrest the driver of the Vehicle who had fled away from the scene after the accident.
