A seven ft. long Python was killed
after running over by a Train at the Hatton Train Station while crossing the Rail Track in the wee hours of last morning(04) according to the reports.
A Python who lived in Watawala reserve and surrounded tea estates had faced this incident and this was the first time that a Python was reported as killed due to a run over by a Train the Rail workers have said.
The Python may have run over by the train which travelled from Hatton to Kandy last morning the Workers have stated.The wild life officers of Nallathanniya Wild Life office were informed over the incident by the rail workers.
