Three Persons Were Arrested While Smuggling 242 Gold Biscuits To India

Three Sri Lankans have been arrested by the Sri Lanka Navy this morning(12) in Thalaimannar Sea belt in Northern Sri Lanka while transporting 242 Gold Biscuits weighing  100 Grammes each from a Boat to India .

The estimated value of the Gold Biscuits  taken in to custody in possession of the suspects is around Rs.170 million the Navy have stated.

The three suspects were handed over to the Jaffna Magistrate Court for legal activities.
