The E -Health Card which includes the health information of a person ,introduced to Sri Lanka on Last Saturday(07) will be issued to the Sri Lankan population of 21 million by the year 2020 according to the Minister Of Health Dr.Rajitha Senaratne.The E Health Card includes the Health Information and the Blood Type of a person and will be helpful during the patient treatment activities the Minister has stated.
The Card has been officially launched in Sri Lanka during the World Health Day Ceremony held at the Nelum Pokuna Theater in Colombo last Saturday.
