Former LAK SATHOSA Chairman Has Been Released On Bail

The former Chairman of the Lanka Sathosa Limited  Nalin Ruwanjeewa Fernando  who was arrested by the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) over misusing of Rs.39 million worth state funds during previous regime to purchase Carom and Darts Boards Has been released on bail today (12) by the Colombo Fort Magistrate .

Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne had ordered the suspect to release on two personal bails of Rs.300,000 each and a cash  bail of Rs.25,000.

Colombo Fort Magistrate had also imposed a foreign tour ban on the suspect and ordered the authorities to take his passport under court custody.The Magistrate also said that the charges filed against the former Lak SATHOSA Chairman not belongs to the public property act.
