A Tornado Occurred In Sea Area Near Dodanduwa?

A Tornado occurred in the sea area near Dodanduwa ,Galle last evening (19) it has been reported.

Due to the Tornado which occurred amidst windy condition in the sea area lasted few minutes and a huge sea wave had seen risen as a result of it according to the reports.

A tornado is a rapidly rotating column of air that is in contact with both the surface of the Earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus cloud.
