A Chinese National Was Arrested With 12 Gem Stones By The Airport Customs

Airport customs have this morning(26) arrested a 39 year old Chinese National who had illegally brought 12  Gem stones weighing 68.87 carrots to Sri Lanka at the Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport.

The stock of Gem Stones which wrapped in special wrappers and concealed in small boxes worth around Rs.21 million it has been revealed.

Blue Sapphires,Padmaraga ,Aranool and Vairody among the Gem Stones brought by the suspect according to Customs.

The suspected Chinese National had arrived in  a CatheyPacific Airlines  from Hong Kong according to reports.
