Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe has stated that he is ready to appear before the Presidential Commission Of Inquiry conducting inquiry on the controversial Bond scam of Central Bank for any clarification regarding the Bond scam if the Commission wants.As persons given evidence before the Commission including former Central Bank governor Arjuna Mahendran has mentioned Prime Minister Wikramasinghe's name ,he has no objection what so ever in appearing before the Commission Prime Minister's office has announced.
The good governance government came to power on 08th of January 2015 will be always committed to protect democracy and good governance ,the statement issued by the PM's office by quoting PM has said.
