Colombo Additional Magistrate has today(18) ordered the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division(FCID) to act by using police powers against MP Namal Rajapakshe the eldest son of former president Mahinda Rajapakshe over threatening one of the officials of the FCID .Colombo Additional Magistrate Chandana Kalangsuriya has issued the order after rejecting a request made by FCID to issue MP Namal Rajapakshe to appear before the court and make a statement regarding the incident .
MP Namal had been accused over threatening an officer of FCID during the arrival of one of his brothers to make a statement regarding allegations leveled against him at FCID.
