Disposal of Garbage to the Lands belonging to the Urban Development Authority (UDA) will be banned with effect from 01st of May according to the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Patali Champika Ranawake.If a Provincial Council or a state owned company would require an area to dispose their garbage the above mentioned Council or the Company would have to bear the necessary expenses by utilizing their allocated funds the UDA has announced.
