The Railway Trade Unions have announced this evening that they will not taking part in the island wide strike of public transport services scheduled to be launched midnight tonight following the discussions held with President Maithripala Sirisena.
According to the Joint Railway Trade Unions Front they have received solutions for the demands during the discussion held with president.
However the Private Bus Trade Unions led by All Ceylon Private Bus Owners Association have decided to go ahead with their island wide strike action from midnight tonight against the budget proposal on increasing of minimum traffic fine to Rs.2500 .
