The Colombo Magistrate's Court has today(01) lifted the overseas travel ban imposed on former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakshe and seven others over the controversial "Avant Guarde" floating armory case with conditions .
When the case on "Avant Guarde" floating armory issue taken up today at the Colombo Magistrate Court the Magistrate has given approval conditionally to lifting the overseas travel ban imposed on former Defense Secretary and seven other suspects in the case as per the request made by their attorneys.
However while granting approval to lifting the overseas travel ban imposed on the suspects Colombo Magistrate has stated that the decision should be notified to registrar of the Colombo Magistrate Court and Bribery Commission.
