President Maithripala Sirisena has today(23) appointed Sangeeth Nipun ,Visharada ,Professor Sanath Nandasiri as the new Chancellor of University Of Visual and Performing Arts .Sanath Nandasiri who is a well known singer and musical director here has been appointed for the Chancellor post of University Of Visual and Performing Arts which left vacant due to the death of Veteran Musician Pandith W.D Amaradeva.
Sanath Nandasiri has received his appointment letter from the President today at Presidential Secretariat in Colombo.
