Retired Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG)K.L.N Sarathchandre who was also a coordinating secretary of the Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe has been arrested today(23) by the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division(FCID) for misusing of a Jeep belonging to the Special Police Task Force.The Retired former DIG has been remanded until 06th of December by the Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya this evening after been produced before the court.
