Two Persons Were Remanded For Sending More Than 100 Sri Lankan Females To Maldives For Prostitution

Image result for remandedTwo suspects who were arrested last Tuesday(15) over sending more than 100 Sri Lankan females to Maldives for prostitution had been remanded until 21st of November by the Kaduwela Magistrate today(17).

The officers of the special investigations unit attached to Foreign Employment Bureau had arrested the two suspects and produced them before the Kaduwela Magistrate Court today.

The two suspects who were also running a lodge  in Battaramulla(In Colombo) had sent Sri Lankan Females to Maldives through tourist visas it has been revealed.

The officers of the Special Investigations Division attached to Foreign Employment Bureau had recovered the photos of the females the suspects have been sent  and those who are due to send to Maldives for  prostitution  as well as a stock of passports  at their lodge in Battaramulla .The Foreign Employment Bureau is now conducting an investigations to arrest a Bangladeshi National who involved in sending Sri Lankan females to Maldives.
