A 12 Hour Water Cut To Be Implemented In Several Areas In Colombo This Saturday

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has today(17) announced a twelve hour water cut from 9 a.m to 9 p.m in several areas  in Colombo this Saturday(19).

Accordingly the water cut will be affected  to  Colombo ,Kotte,Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia,Kolonnawa Municipal Council area,Kaduwela Municipal Council area ,Boralesgamuwa,Maharagama,Kotikawatte-Mullariyawa Pradeshiya Sabha area and Rathmalana.

Urgent repairs of the power transmission  system that supplying electricity to Ambathale Water Treatment Plant is the cause for 12 hour water cut the Water Board has stated.
