Thirty Eight Out Of The Sixty Two Members Of "Ava" Crimes Group Had Been Arrested- Minister Of Law,Order And Southern Development

Thirty Eight  out of  the Sixty Two  persons identified as Members of  the "Ava" Crimes Group which terrorizing several places in Jaffna District   had been arrested so far according to the Minister of Law,Order and Southern Development Sagala Rathnayake.

Responding to a question raised by leader of  Janatha Wimukthi Peramuna(JVP) MP Anura Kumara Dassanayke at Parliament today(15)  Minister Rathnayake has stated that eight leaders of the "Ava" Group are due to be arrested soon  .

"Ava" group has imported it's first sword from Brazil via India and the group has made several weapons by itself Minister has stressed.
