The Gampaha Chief Magistrate has today(25) issued an International Arrest warrant through INTERPOL (International Police)to arrest and produced Lanka E News Website editor Sandaruwan Senadheera before the court on the charges of contempt of court.The Lanka E News Editor has been charged for publishing a photograph of the suspect who had accused as assaulted the former Editor of the Divaina and Rivira Newspapers Mr.Upali Thennakoon before the suspect was produced for an identification parade.
The Gampaha Chief Magistrate Kavindya Nananayakkare has ordered the Department of Immigration and Emigration to arrest the Lanka E News Editor if he arrives in Sri Lanka.
