Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya has released the two suspects who were taken into custody over hacking of President Maithripala Sirisena's Official Web Site on bail today(02).
The Criminal Investigations Department(CID) has arrested a 17 year old School Boy from Kadugannawa on Sunday and a 27 year old from Moratuwa on Monday under the Computer Crimes Act regarding the hacking incident.
The 17year old School Boy was released on two personal bails of Rs.1 million each and the 27 year old suspect was released on two personal bails of Rs.1 million each and a cash bail of Rs.25,000 by the Magistrate.
After being arrested and produced before the Court the 17 year old School Boy was put on probation by the Court and the youth was remanded .
After release on bail the Chief Magistrate has warned the School Boy to refrain such activities in future and ordered his parents to submit bills and documents related to his internet activities in the past six months.
